This weeks plant obsession:
Ficus Pumila “Creeping Fig”
One of my all-time favourite plants, the Creeping Fig can transform the facade of a house, add greenery to fences and create a natural vibe in any garden. It transcends design trends by being at home in various styles, whether it’s cottage or modern - it can add life to any area.
This clever little creeper has air roots that allow it to cling to porous surfaces like rendered walls, wooden fences etc. However, I always advise that using this plant as a wall cover is a commitment, as it can be tricky to remove later!
I’ve used it here as a wall cover in conjunction with a Euphorbia Cowboy Cactus.
